Minutes from the public hearing of the Legislative Council held on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 in the meeting room at the C.H. Booth Library. Vice Chair Frances Pennarola called the meeting to order at 7:03pm.
Present: Francis Pennarola, Jan Brookes, Paul Lundquist, Will Rodgers, Gary Davis, Pat Llodra
Also Present: Peggy Baiad, Tony Baiad, Greg Layda
An ordinance entitled “the Newtown Noise Control Ordinance”, chapter 262 as published in the Newtown Bee.
Peggy Baiad, 4 Budd Drive, encourages the council to approve the noise ordinance.
Tony Baiad, 4 Budd Drive, also encourages the council to support the ordinance.
Greg Layda,15 South Main Street – Would like to see how far this will be carried out. He wants to make sure that the working class are supported with this ordinance. Working all day, things need to be done in the evening.
